Why did I choose my study program?
Since I was little I preferred the natural science classes than the history ones. In my family, my grandfather had a disease that reduced his mobility and I liked to learn from my aunt when she treated his wounds. So when I grew up, I started to really like the health sciences. When I was 6 years old, there was a program at my school, they took us to the dentist every month and there were horrible experiences for us (maybe I'm exaggerating). We were kids and the dentists were brusque and treated patients poorly, at least to children, so no one of us wanted to go there. But that only lasted a year. Later, when I was 10 years old my mother took me to the dentist because I needed braces. I didn't wanna go, initially. But my dentist was a good one and he explained me the whole procedure. I also watched him prepare the dental materials and I started to like his work. When it was time to decide what I wanted to study at the university, I was a bit hesitant between which area of health I wanted to choose, and finally I decided on this. I want to help people and do the best I can.
What about you?
In general, children fear the dentist, I want to change that and I want to contribute to the good oral hygiene of my patients.
ResponderEliminarI like your opinion about of the dentistry.
ResponderEliminarI once read that children relate the vibratory stimulus of the turbine as pain, but it is not, they are often exaggerated
ResponderEliminarI also had a hard time deciding what to study but I liked the area of health, then I deepen into dentistry and I felt comfortable dealing with this topic and I knew that was what I would study.
