My favorite tv series

I don't have seen a lot of tv series but it's difficult to me to choice only one (I have found them equally good). In this case I choose Game of thrones, a fantasy and medieval drama produced by HBO. It follows the web of alliances and conflicts among different noble houses set on the fictional continents of Westeros and Essos to have control of the Iron Throne to govern the seven kingdoms that make up the territor or fighting for Independence from it, and other parallels stories.

Not everyone likes this genre. It also abused of the violence  and for adults scenes .  At first, I was not so interested in seeing it but I gave it a chance. In the first 9 episodes it was like the introduction of the characters and the history behind that story (A lot). You can sympathize a character and nothing of greater importance happens. But in the last episode of that season the best character, the most honorable, discover the truth behind a series of intrigues and conspiracies and he was killed. And this is the moment when I realized that NO CHARACTER IS INSURED, everyone can die. Now the game of thrones begins and with it the revenge, betrayals and the struggle for power. 

What I like most about that tv serie is that it is VERY UNPREDICTABLE, there are many twists that leave you shocked. Also the way in which the story is told, intertwining the lives of many characters  and the fact that there are many points of view. It is not so determinant between good and evil (or a good or bad character) but it introduces several "shades of gray",which makes it more realistic and more human. It deals a lot about the evolution and redemption (or not) of the characters. And although there is a bit of magic and dragons does not focus on that, but in the political, ethical and moral conficts of the characters (For example: The human condition, Are people judged by their intention or by their actions? or the philosophy of Kant in Stark family). And of course the performances, the soundtrack and the scenes of battles stand out.
