My Favorite Writer?

Reading is one of the things that fascinates me. When I was little I remember asking my mother repeatedly to tell me stories. Then, at school, my love for reading began little by little. My teacher recommended us really good books. Some of my favorites were ''Perfume ''  by Patrick Süskind , '' Fahrenheit 451 '' by Ray Bradbury, '' The House of the Spirits '' by Isabel Allende and a few by García Márquez. I also consider Allan Poe, Camus, Charles Dickens ('' Oliver Twist '', '' Tale of two cities '') as some of the best along with Oscar Wilde (''The Picture of Dorian Gray '').

I have also read contemporary Fantasy like Cassandra Clare, and Thomas Harris with '' The silence of the lambs '', one of the best I have read of mystery and terror, I really like that genre.

But in this case I will highlight the Scottish writer and doctor Sir Arthur Conan Doyle creator of the famous detective Sherlock Holmes and his series of stories and books narrated by his friend Watson, the first of them '' A Study in Scarlet '' (1887) . I like the peculiar personality of Holmes, the ingenuity, unusual methods and analysis that takes to solve each of the interesting and entertaining cases. Also, you pay more attention to things and you try to solve the case while the clues are appearing.
And you?
